Antique Turkmen Selpeli Guljaka

This fabulous ornamental disc or “Selpeli Guljaka ” was made by the Teke Turkeman Tribe around 1890 -1900 , it is gilded on silver with Table cut Carnelian and red and green glass faceted and Cabochon stones. It is traditionally part of the jewellery of a bride, The piece is in mint condition
It is 27 cm – 10 6/8 inches long
17 cm – 6 7/8 inches in diameter
the fish dangles are 3.5 cm -1 5/8 inches long
