Bezalel is the first and most important art school in Israel , founded in the late 19th century it strives to promote Ancient Jewish Heritage and the various Arts and Crafts from all the Jewish Diaspora. In that end they made in their jewellery classes modern at the time in the Arts and Crafts style of various Biblical themes, one of them being Heroines from the Bible , The pieces were made over a period of over 50 years , This example depicting Esther was made around 1950 . this we know from the .925 hallmark that says also Jerusalem and also Israel, The Esther design is one of the rarest ones and as said is made in the traditional Bezalel style.
